Calming, happy and comfortable

The owners are the nicest people, they will really go out of their way to make you feel happy and comfortable. Breakfast was made to order each morning and they always want to help you we felt very welcomed. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable with a/c, if you take the bicycles out onto the road to the right the views are incredible.

The Family is so lovely ! They give their best to provide you with everything you need. You can get a bicycle free and choose between couple of options for breakfast. Would come again! :)

Beautiful location, amazing hosts all for an incredible budget price!

This hotel is in such a beautiful and practical location. It is set against the gorgeous limestone mountains, around the corner from Bich Dong Pagoda and 2kms from Tam Coc. It is a family run business and they are incredibly kind and generous. They helped us with anything we needed.

nice pool, near the pagoda but AMAZING staff, really nice guy and he made amazing pancakes. he offered us free fruit and extra waters very nice

it’s not where it says it is on the Booking.com/Apple Maps only trust google which was abit annoying trying to find the hotel (30 minute walk away from the location on booking.com) Also there was a dead cockroach under the bed but I feel like this was probably unlucky for us rather than it being common here

It was in between Tam Coc and quieter riding areas with rice...

It was in between Tam Coc and quieter riding areas with rice fields and temples. The breakfast was included and there were a few options to select from. The room was clean as well as towels and bedding.

It is a busy narrow road with lots of cars and bikes passing through, it is a noise place and l thought would be much quieter. Also, tours arrive in the evenings and as the restaurant is in the ground floor, all the noise comes up to the rooms until very late at night time. Restaurant is expensive but there are many cheaper places to eat nearby. I think the place needs a bit of renovation, the owners appear to be tired too.

Lovely situation, close to sights. I would use this hotel again

The Hotel is simply furnished, but very clean, better than the five star in Hanoi! The owner was very helpful, we were able to hire a bicycle and motorbike from them. We ate at the hotel, the food was good.

Very nice place to stay in a quiet place of Tam Coc

The family is so friendly, and the woman in the reseption was the nicest. She spoke well english, asked everyone how they where during breakfast and seemed interested. The breakfast was very good, large portions both with eggs and bread, and pancakes. No complaints about the room.

Not a 24-hour open reception. We woke up at 5 to go see and photograph the sunrise, but couldnt, because the door was locked. Also, only three-four restaurants close to chose from, but thats the location.

Great place to stay

The family was really nice and helpful. Room was really comfortable and big. Also they have their own restaurant and the food was great. The hotel is located near the lake in a quiet area. It is possible to rent a bike and motorbike. We rented motorbike and in one day were able to see the main attractions.

Bathroom would need to be renovated.

Not as expected

View is nice. Price is moderate. Staff were friendly, but few spoke English and the one who did was difficult to find. Location beside the pagoda is good for that sight but far from many other attractions.

Probably biggest issue was never being able to find staff. We waited for quite a while one morning at breakfast just wanting to grab a water, but only the one woman spoke English and seemed to be very very busy and not around often. She works hard and is kind but it’s difficult when she’s the only one that can help you but isn’t around very much. Room was more run-down than expected. Photos supplied by hot are not a great indicator of how our room looked in reality. Bathroom was pretty rough, with one dim flickering fluorescent bulb. Lamp in room Didn’t work and only lighting is bright white fluorescent ceiling lighting, making it feel a bit cold and sterile. We rented a scooter and were told a price, but upon leaving were charged double the quoted price. Was a little surprised they had no gasoline on site, instead we had to track it down and haggle with stingy locals. We got more gas than needed and left it with a full tank but the hotel manager(owner?) still wanted full price even though we got it with about a 1/3 of a tank. She gave me 50,000 for gas we spent 130,000 for, on top of a far higher day price than quoted. No safe in the room and windows are pretty easily opened from outside. Location is far from Tam Coc, but taking a scooter was fine, just know you won’t be walking in probably.

Location!

Location! Great view over lake and hills, close to other sightseeing places that you can reach by bike. Bikes are available here. Anna and Tham are great hosts, making good breakfast with extra treats.

Lovely time with this welcoming family

The owners are fantastic hosts and really lovely! Their hospitality is wonderful and we felt very welcome! The rooms are decent and quite spacious. The food is also recommended, their spring rolls are delicious!
